Is this really a one-time payment?

Yes. You pay once and own the version you purchased forever — no annual fees, no subscription required to keep using it. iCARE (/year) is optional and gives you access to new versions as they're released, but is never required to keep using what you bought.

Will my AutoCAD drawings open without issues?

Yes. progeCAD is a native DWG editor for Windows — it reads and writes the same DWG format AutoCAD uses. Every version from DWG 2.5 through the latest version is supported. No conversion step, no data loss. Blocks, layers, linetypes, XREFs, dynamic blocks — all preserved exactly as created.

Can I run my existing AutoLISP scripts and VBA macros?

Yes. AutoLISP routines run as-is in progeCAD with no modification required. VBA macros are also supported. If you have custom ARX or ADS applications, the equivalent SDS and IRX interfaces are available for rebuilding those tools.

What's the difference between Single+, Flex, and NLM?

Single+ () is a standard license for one PC. Flex () is a smart license that lets you install on every PC you use — office, home, client site — and activate on one at a time with a quick online transfer. NLM () is a network floating license: install on any number of machines, and the number of licenses you hold sets the concurrent session limit.

Can I move or reinstall my license?

Yes. A progeCAD perpetual license is yours to move, reinstall, and transfer without limit. Upgrade your hardware, rebuild your machine, or switch PCs — your license moves with you. No subscription required to keep using the software.

Does progeCAD support 3D modeling?

Yes. progeCAD Professional includes full 3D ACIS solid modeling — EXTRUDE, REVOLVE, SWEEP, LOFT, UNION, SUBTRACT, and more. It also includes realistic rendering with materials and lighting. For civil/survey 3D terrain (DTM), the progeEARTH add-on extends this further.
